Llangoed Hall

Join us for afternoon tea

From the Gold Rose and Butterfly design fine bone china, exclusively designed for Llangoed Hall, to the selection of fine loose leaf teas, afternoon teas are a lavish affair

The afternoon tea is one of the quintessential country house hotel experiences, and for that very reason alone it must always be savoured, never rushed. At Llangoed Hall we have built a reputation for the attention to the quality of our afternoon teas.

Our offering begins with the traditional Cream Tea served with homemade scones, preserves and clotted cream, while there is also the Welsh Tea. This consists of tea with a slice of Bara Brith (Welsh fruit loaf) and two Welsh Cakes.

The Full Afternoon Tea consists of tea or coffee, together with sandwiches, homemade fruitcake, cream pastries, trifle, homemade scones, preserves and clotted cream. The Champagne Afternoon Tea takes things a step further and adds a glass of house champagne to the mix.

The Laura Ashley Afternoon Tea includes a glass of Elderflower Champagne, a selection of floral teas, finger sandwiches, scones and various cakes all served on bespoke Caverswall crockery inspired by Laura Ashley’s design style.

“We had afternoon tea at Llangoed Hall. Nothing was too much trouble. We decided on the Welsh tea and the Welsh cakes are the best I've had anywhere. Freshly made! We will happily return.” Guest via TripAdvisor
