AA serves up three rosettes for Llangoed Hall’s award-winning restaurant
September 2014 - Building our reputation as a true food destination
Chefs at Lllangoed Hall, popular with royalty and celebrities, have served up more success after their award-winning restaurant was upgraded to three rosettes by the AA.
Llangoed Hall, located in the scenic Wye valley at Llyswen, near Brecon, adds the latest accolade to the coveted Condé Nast Johansens Best Restaurant accolade for Great Britain and Ireland, AA Hotel of the Year for Wales 2014 and Inspectors Choice 4 Red Stars, the AA’s supreme accolade.
The awards highlight a remarkable transformation of the historic property’s fortunes in the last two years. Managing director Calum Milne rescued Llangoed Hall from administration in July 2012 and is now guiding it back to the top of the UK’s hospitality industry.
“The AA’s three rosettes award is marvellous news and thoroughly deserved by head chef Nick Brodie, his team and all the staff here at Llangoed Hall,” said Mr Milne, who has invested more than £2 million on refurbishing the 23-bedroomed hotel and its 15-acre estate. “This award was last achieved by Llangoed hall in 1992.”
To celebrate the latest accolade, Llangoed Hall has introduced a daily four course lunch menu for £35. Diners who take this article with them will receive a £5 discount when booking lunch. This offer is restricted to one article per two people.
