Llangoed Hall receives rave reviews in the national press
September 2013 - The hotel has received a flurry of positive press coverage over the past month
With its rich history and unique setting Llangoed Hall has always attracted a large number of column inches in terms of press coverage. A recent burst of activity in the national media is testament that this remains firmly the case with the hotel featuring in the Daily Mail, the Daily Express and also the Evening Standard.
We are pleased to report that the Daily Mail article was particularly complimentary with the hotel receiving a five-star rating from a very impressed journalist. “Good taste presides everywhere,” he states enthusiastically, “It makes a Downton bedroom look dowdy… Llangoed Hall is the real deal.”
The Daily Express was equally effusive and captivated by the building’s Laura Ashley connections; “There’s no shortage of florals in this idyllic property” they commented. While Liz Hoggard from the Evening Standard, it is fair to say after reading her glowing review, loved everything about Llangoed Hall. “The Grade II-listed hotel runs like clockwork. But there’s an endearing lack of formality… the weekend simply flies by.
We are delighted to be recognised for our quality in the national press, but, rest assured, we are dedicated to keeping our standards of service as high as ever; as, the maxim goes, you’re only as good as your last review.
